We carry both spring set brakes and high torque clutches from WPT that may serve as Wichita low inertia alternatives. These are available in diameters ranging from as large as 60" all the way down to 4". Ideal for applications in metal stamping and forming, or other operations requiring general power transmission, our WPT components will not let you down. Eaton Airflex also manufactures quality brakes and clutches that may fit your needs; consult with us to determine which is the best solution for you.

Aside from excellent brakes and clutches, Eaton's team of engineers has designed three different rotoseals, as well as a quick release valve. Eaton Airflex rotoseals are available in single, double, and triple passage models. Their purpose is to allow pressurized fluids to pass from a stationary component to a rotating component. This is a common application in braking and clutch systems.
The quick release valve serves to provide an exhaust port at the device, rather than at a control component or the end of the line. The result is less lag time between signal and response in the system. This effectively minimizes and sometimes prevents clutch and brake overlap, decreases cycle time, and protects drive components from unnecessary wear or damage.
